3D modeling tool Google Sketchup.

Google SketchUp is can be used to create 3D models of anything you like. Information, including the download, is at http://sketchup.google.com/. It is a free program so you can download it at home too!

Self-paced tutorials are SketchUp files designed to give interactive training to help you develop your SketchUp skills. To go through these tutorials, first read Running the Google Sketchup Tutorials and then click on these links, one at a time, in order:

You can build models from scratch, or you can download templates. There are people everywhere that share what they've made. Google 3D Warehouse is a searchable database of models, and it's free. Explore the Google 3D Warehouse at http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/.
